The bottom guide on the 7.4 is the exact same size as the 6.10, 12mm inside diameter measured just real quick with my not so good eyes.

6.10 is on the right side.
The tip of the rods are different, one is tubular the other is solid. Specs on that can be found on the Olympic website. The bottom diameter specs are not there, but visually and by feel the 7.4 has a bigger butt diameter.

It does not have a delicate feel, very solid and sturdy. I feel it could handle 4-5lb line easily, and up to 3/16-1/4oz lures with ease. The upper limit is about 1/3oz, don’t think I would go there. I started casting a 1g jig head and plastic and was getting more than adequate distance with that weight. I switched to a .6g jig and plastic and felt like that was too light for this rod, as is indicated on the bottom lure rating. Casting distance suffered, and so this satisfied an experiment I have been wanting to do on the bottom lure limits, they are pretty much spot on. VaCrappieMan has this rod also, he uses it to drop shot. I think I may have gotten the last one from the seller on Global Rakuten as he does not have it listed anymore on his store site. It took over 2 weeks to get mine. I think it would handle a 2500 size reel, especially the new LT series, Luvias would fit wonderfully on it.
