Fished Grayson today. Got on the water about 11. Water was brown but could’ve been worse I suppose. Stopped at the last gas station before the lake and waited in a long line of people getting minnows. Lots of people talking about catching crappie in 4 fow. People talking about catching 50-60+ a day right now. I started my day with minnows under bobber in areas that have produced before. Only found 1 small fish.
Then I sawitched to longlining jigs. Started with a variety: paddle tails, curly tails, and tubes. Jig sizes 1/8 1/16 1/32. Dillferent depths. First fish came on a black and chartreuse crappie thunder.
Missed another bite on the same jig.
After that I switched all my baits to tube style or baits with skirts. Ended up catching 7 total today. Biggest was 10in on the dot. Hopefully this is a good sign of things to come. Water temp was between 50-53° different parts of the lake. Fish were all caught in 15-20 fow.

Congratulations on finding some, hopefully things will “heat up”. Stay healthy.
