Default Lake Wylie 3/14 with my youngun

[Well I decided to take my 3(almost 4 year old) out for a little crappie fishing. She is the 5th generation in my little ole 1973 sears jon boat. It’s so fun and sentimental I could care less about the fish just being with her is great. We lost a lot of fish. Had a lot of fun. Caught 4 species (cat, bass, white perch, crappie) kept 3 crappie with one being a HOG. No measurements or weights but for reference in the picture the other two were 10” so we know it’s a big one haha! Withers cove longlining 1/16 jigs just like usual. Plenty of other guys catching them too. One guy on his dock had 2 crappie back to back in a foot of water on riprap with float n minnow. These suckers are scattered everywhere right now ATTACH]368698[/ATTACH]

Did the same with my little man this weekend. He just eat snacks and takes a break to reel in a fish. He told Mommy his favorite part of the trip yesterday was peeing in the sand Lake Wylie 3/14 with my youngun

Took my 5 yo grandson last weekend. That is what it is all about. Show them young there is more out there than computer games. A day and two fish with them is worth a lot more than a two limit day with a grown up.

Outstanding. I know you had a ball with him.
