Thread: High Rock Sunday Report

High rock was tough Sunday. Pulled cranks and jigs. Buddy and his dad also went in their boat. We both pulled from early morning to about 1. Plenty of bait and fish marked but no takers. He boated one and I ended up with zero. Guys anchored under the bridge said the were catching a few with minnows near the bottom, but had to weed through 10 or 12 to get one keeper. Everything was holding near the bottom. Water started out at about 49 then warmed to about 51. Still a little muddy but getting better. I bet some were probably caught on brush, but I love pulling.

Still a good day. Took my 7 yo grandson and actually had him driving the boat a little. With my help of course. Need to get him where he can load it. lol. I hate using the rope.
