Thread: I GOT A WITNESS !

That's right yawl , it aint just a fishy story . H was standing right with me when it happened and his youthful awareness saw it first .
We were all dock ketchn a few here and there and I dropped my jig down by H and KABOOM went the thump and KAPOP went my line …..
So as I muttered a few words that wasn't so nice and said I thunk it was an ok fish as I could feel a little weight on the hook set , H dropped his jig about 3 foot away from where the event occurred ….with a grin of course .
Maybe 30 to 45 seconds later KABOOM again and H is in a fight with a decent fish . He eventually subdued it and swung it up on the dock and it SPITS OUT my jig as it goes thru the air and it lands at his feet !
Now mind you I seen a few amazing things over the years and had some fish even bite both jigs on a tandem and managed one with a hook in it a few times , but I aint never ever had a jig come back to me that fast for sure .
Now it wasn't near over as a story making outing because later in this here mini adventure the fish quit and we couldn't beg a bite . At that moment in time colors and sizes start getting all kinds of crazy and when you are sure they are there its play your cards till you get the right hand kinda thing . Ez , Sk , H , Jeffery and myself were in that all to often struggle of what the heck do they want ?
Well Sk breaks out about the ugliest bait I ever seen color wise and then it began to happen …..grape banana began to turn it around about right quickly !
We all used one and started ketchn fish and all couldn't believe they wanted such a terribly ugly bait . Many years ago I was given several bags of a similar color and NEVER caught a fish one time on them , heck I gave all the bags away because it was like they were a jinx to put in the water .
So in the end does color matter as is often debated ?….nope never …
until it for sure does ….and that my friends is for sure …
so in synopsis will the new giveaway KABOOM ballcaps help you ketch more crappie you ask ? I dunno but to be sure if your bud gives you what they want and your other bud retrieves your lost jigs you most certainly have a better chance to ketch them and in the end if nothing else you will be for sure styling large in one of these here caps ….

HAHA, man that's an awesome story. You guys always seem to have fun if your catching or not. Congrats on figuring them out again and putting a hurtin on them. KABOOM my friend!!!

KABOOM!!! Thinking that SK should video some of these adventures. But then again, we all sure do love your poetic posts.

I recorded one trip and somehow lost the footage.... It's for sure a great time over there and Ed of all of us crack some good jokes....LOL
I'll tell ya if'n ya ain't get'n bit ya better be making some changes and color is one of'em......

It's not picking on you when it is pointed out that everybody else is catching more and bigger fish than you. It might not be true but it is not picking on you.
