Got another report on Monroe that large nice crappie wet previously being caught in the flooded brush past couple weeks in 5’ of water in Allen’s Creek, then last Friday they quit catching them and went back to catching 8-10” fish. My comment was the change in the cold weather drove the big ones back into the deep maybe even in the creek channel and that is when you need to pay attention to where the bait balls are at with your electronics. Guys were catching nice 12-14 inch fish with occassional bigger ones jigs tipped with minnows in the brush. They will be back with warmer weather as the main creek channel of the main lake runs right next to the mouth of Allen’s in the main lake bordering both points of the mouth of Allen’s Creek. Just a FYI
