    Anyone with the Lowrance elite motor guide combo? I already have the auto pilot minn kota v2. I just bought a lowrance ti2 7 and love it. I am thinking about trying the motor guide trolling motor. Thoughts?

    I never have owned a Motor Guide, but most of the people I know that had one went back to Minn Kota. I have been using the MK V2 w/AP for many years and recently went with the Terrova...Love it!!

    Had motorguide on last boat and had zero issues. Went with minn kota terrova this time simply due to price. Only thing the minn kota is better at is the screen on remote. Motorguide steering motor was quieter and faster, both seem equal on anchor, cruise and heading lock. I did not and do not have them linked to finder.
