Looking for ideas on how to modify mine so I can fold my left side down to stow and deploy trolling motor. Figure someone’s done it already just looking for ideas to use. Trying to set up my new triton but ultrex cable is in the way where I want to mount them at.

I have seen some folks mount them on a sliding track.....slide out of the way and lock down....then slide back and lock down. Gene Johnson ( E-Z Poleholder) on the Mississippi board can help you out with this. His phone number is 1 601 750 3519
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Spider lock makes a 32 inch slider plate and a 16 inch slider plate. Last time I ordered parts Gene referred me to this number 601-932-5832.

Following as I’m in search of the same.
I thought about a hinge on one side eliminating one of the knob screws that holds to base then simply fold back. I’ll look for the sliding plate first.

Call Gene first, and go from there.

Not as efficient as you seek but I loosen the main adjustment and turn sideways till I get trolling motor down .

I was going to use a single rod holder pedestal and mount my cross bar to it. Talked to Mr Gene and he said the composite adjustment pieces wasn’t stout enough for his liking. I don’t like having to take my left side down every time I move. May go to different brand singles soon.
