I would think they would fine for pushing or power trolling. I would also think they might really mess up the action of a crank on a longline.

I think the action would be the same.....I have even tied road runners and jig 12 inches behind the back hook of a crankbait.

You could just put a small split ring on a small blade and hang it on back hook
