Thread: Here is the deal with Slab Sauce, for me!

I am not asking for the recipe or anything, but I have to ask How did Slab first come up with the recipe and idea?

A little bit of trial and error, input from guides, plus a bunch of testing by members over time. Like g said, it started maybe ten years ago and I tried everything, and the end two products were gewbers, and the current slabsauce.

Actually now that I think about it, it originally started after a conversation with a guide in 2006 or 2007. Forgot the exact year but I remember the lake.

Amazing! Thanks for the research! I have not been able to try mine yet. I bought 2 bottles at the expo and haven't been fishing with them yet. Cannot wait to try it!

Slab- I did not know the gewbers were SS, interesting, I did like them, handy. I could see were they could be a pain. Hopefully, this thread will help you sell more.

I don't have any slab sauce yet.
But do y'all remember , I think they were Uncle Josh's pork rind in bottle trailers for bass fishing jigs?????

Wondering how dried out pork fat just under skin would work once resoaked in SS ?
