Do you know if they got their new lodge built? Seems like I remember seeing something about them adding a 30 room lodge or something like that. November F3 tornado was around 8 yrs ago ? King Creek wasn't hit by the tornado at all. They are just fixin things up under new management. Now, Moors was hit very hard after it got me. Next time i go out i'll have to down scan for camping trailers...lol

I beg your pardon but Kings Creek was ripped apart 2-4 years ago. The Marina was totally damaged and has been replaced.
They are not under new management, the Blommaert family has operated it for years.

I'm not understanding what i did wrong here? How was i bashing or arguing with anyone? I didn't say anything bad about them or their business. I wasn't arguing with you or trying to create a problem. Just relaying information. I heard they were bought out and under new management. There isn't anything wrong with that in my book. I saw they were upgrading quite a few things the last several years. Always happy to see improvements around my neighborhood. I have no reason to bash them or argue with you.
I didn't hear of a tornado hitting King Creek 2-4 yrs ago of course my mind isn't what it used to be...lol. Maybe you can show me the article. The f3 tornado i was talking about was Nov 15 2005, i lose track of time...lol

I have no evidence of the event but we follow King Creek on Facebook and they posted pictures there.
We saw the evidence on our first visit after the storm.

Thanks. Heck i live right here and didn't know about it, was misinformed or just forgot it....lol . We've been having a bunch of straight line winds/tornadoes the last few years around here that are wrecking a lot of marinas for sure.
