I haven’t been since early May! No help here. But I’m sure they’re biting if you find them

Has anyone had any luck with crappie on Taylorsville lately? The last report I have seen was 3 months ago. Thinking about trying it this week

I went yesterday but didn't go until late in the morning. I caught one keeper. Boat traffic got to much to handle after a while. I did talk to a couple of guys who said they didn't do very well either. It will pick up before too long.

I went yesterday to Guest Creek in the morning and then to Taylorsville in the
afternoon. I did not catch one single keeper crappie either place.
Water was 82 to 84 degrees and looked good though.
I only used jigs all day.
Did catch a 5 to 6 lb flat head cat on my 4 lb crappie outfit and got him in.
That was a long, long struggle.

Unfortunately my GPS went out on the trolling motor. The shop said it would be a two week turnaround. So fishing for me. Please keep us updated if anyone finds some

Me and my fishing buddy went last Friday, 9/6/19, and did fairly well catching fish. Caught 30-40 fish but only had 8 Keepers (10.5" - 12") 90% of the fish we caught were 9.5"-9.75" long - just under the size limit. Hopefully this means that next year will be better for larger fish. Had to move around a lot and caught in 6' to 19' of water anywhere from 5' to 12' deep with minnow on jigs and slip floats.
