Thread: Took my youngest daughter to cypress last night

Mine used to fish with me more often, before she started staying up later, and doesn't want to get up in the mornings. :*( Maybe I can talk her into another trip sometime soon after things cool off a bit more.


Were you using any type of submersible light? I've been thinking of trying it out there on Cypress around a stump field in about 8-10 feet of water. Just need to make time to go.

Yes I forgot to mention that, I had a spotlight on a pole sticking out from thw boat pointing down at the water, and I also had one of those green lights hanging beside the boat about a foot deep. I haven't seen anything around the green light, but they really come to the regular light, especially after about 3 hours there will be minnows everywhere
