Thread: Post Spawn Long Casting Micro Jigs for the Panfish

I love Post Spawn Panfishing Long Casting Micro Jigs… so much more challenge then dropping a bait in front of a nest.
Kenny and I try a new lake with some post spawners hanging on the deep edge of the weedline. We started the trip on the uptick leg of the Minor.Period. The fishing went slowly with the bite.
Activity really picked up when the Minor.Period hit… many fish caught as well as activity confirmed on the downscan imaging.
In my opinion there is no faster way to bring the Lepomis into the boat than casting the Micro-Jigs.
Jigs were 1/64 oz in size with GULP waxies as the popular tipping.

Good video, Gills and a couple nice bonus Crappie. Never used just the Waxie on a jig head, always used it to tip a plastic bait.
