    Default Wylie 5-9-19

Slow morning. Tried several places on Big A & down toward the dam for perch without much luck. Caught 9 perch on minnows. Did not mark much of anything at all the places we stopped. Drifted cut perch for a while.(caught 4 channel cats)

Caught a bunch of bream out of my pond. We are going to try them out on cats at wateree in the morning.

Thanks for the report Charles, did you see a brush pile ride by you and wave?? We only caught 4 Crappie off of brush but we did sink a couple piles. Good Luck on the Cats.

Yep. That should have made a great brush pile. They should pay off for a good while. Caught 45 cats at wateree. Biggest blue was about 20 lbs. Ran out of bait(40 herring) by 11.
Bite was pretty good. Still having a hard time getting blues over 40 lbs.
