Remember Sonny, You have to share the lake. I got to witness this first hand while I was out there and it can be very frustrating when you are catching fish and they pull up on you and start fishing. Losing toad gills to the brushpiles is frustrating as well. Catch another 12 incher Sonny and you will forget about it, for at least until the next time it happens.

Those last three are super nice. Our Bass guys know that when the Gills are spawning, check the known bedding areas and fish out a little deeper for the big Green Carp. I have waited a few out but my patience runs thin when they come in behind me and a 1oz Lead sinker from a Carolina rig plops down beside my boat. Frustrating to say the least.

    Thnx guys
Going to try to ignore the "tree stumps" (not the real ones) on the lake and focus on the fishing Stan.

The last 3 fish erased everything Jim - had a big smile going home.

Nice fish as usual. I rarely if ever troll......but if I do it is usually in winter or heat of summer and hardly any other folks on the water. I may have asked you this before and if so please overlook my memory lapse...this is what happens when we get older....LOL. Are there any northern starin bluegill in LP?

    Regards

Very nice read and some awesome pics of some really beautiful fish too. I always love to hear stories about cooler heads prevailing, but I used to be exactly the same way with as low or lower threshold for handling stupid people both on the water and off as you or anyone else. I don't know if you recall, but I'm the one who has repeatedly said I wished I could have rigged my boat with torpedo tubes and full battle armament so I could simply disintegrate stupid whenever I encountered it... but deep down I always knew you cannot fix or ever hope to eliminate stupid or ignorance... so it's always better to just take a series of deep breaths and move on to a more peaceful scenario that would allow the hackles to settle. Generally, as you have seen... the Lord will reward those who choose peace and patience over conflict.

    thnx again guys
I hear you Randy - trolling is too easy and I cover a lot of area. We only have the CNBGs @ LP. Lake Havasu has the Northern Strain and the Northern cross with Redear (huge fish).

Good looking gills. Beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing both the report and pictures.
