    Overhanded Loop is very easy to tie. Any advantages of tying a different loop knot over this one? Example, non slip loop knot instead of Overhanded?

    I find the FasSnaps use a really thick wire. Don't like that heavy a connect on my jigs. Besides, unless you're a Rockerfeller, they cost an arm & leg! Here's a much lighter and less expensive option:

    Those look like they would catch a lot of debris.

    PS I took your advice and started using a black jig a with split shot above it, and slow
    rolling just off the bottom. The big gills have been nailing it ...thanks.

    Someone is ripping off Amazon buyers on the real Fas Snaps! I typically buy them locally for around .99 a 6 pack (No-Knot Fas-snap)...
