I have had Sam Heaton. BGJP. Bucks customs and in my opinion they are junk for big fish. I use a old school brush cutter the blue one a Wally Marshall signature series or the red crppiemaxx I don’t carry a net I have slung a countless number of 2.5 to 3 lb fish in the boat with them poles. They all are a little heavy but u will get use to it.
