Also during the Hay day of lake Norman when striper were plentiful, one of my secrets down there was using brim and 8-9inch crappie for bait in the spring. something about trolling them along shoals and rocks that just pissed a big striper off!! so yes they will eat a pan fish if the opportunity is there!!
