Thanks for the answers guys, I got the chance to see it in action for a while yesterday afternoon and only for about 45 minutes. A friend took me out in his boat to a small lake he fishes behind his house. He bought his during the first Bass Pro sale. This guy is a great crappie and bass fisherman and used the term "Game Changer" over and over. Like everyone he says it will not make the fish bite, but you know you are fishing where they are. The amazing thing he told me and has proved it is, he can target larger crappie. My amazement is why the tournament fishermen are not commenting on this. It's not a secret anymore....

Technology is nice, but when it costs twice what I get a month for disability, it's just a pipe dream.

I'm not beyond admitting when I am wrong. I have never spider rigged but posted based on what I have heard from those who do. I'm glad it is working out for you guys. Either way it is a game changer. I have friend who has it and the amount of water of eliminates is amazing. It felt more like we were hunting fish instead of fishing for them.

All good. Given most of what is currently published/posted on the internet about Live Scope revolves around single pole and/or vertical fishing it is the first impression of most people I talk too. For me, I added Live Scope this winter and didn't really know what to expect. The lake closest to me has little/no structure so spider rigging is how we fish it until the fish move to the banks for the spawn. This year...spring rolled around and we headed to the lake to spider rig as we have in the past. Much to my surprise...live scope is a huge benefit. I no longer fish towards landmarks, parallel the bank or follow contours...I follow fish. I've also found structure, secret brush piles and humps I never knew existed.

Well, I pulled the trigger on Livescope. April 8th was my 60th birthday and I got $$$$'s from income tax return and I hope I live long enough to the backordered transducer and black box. I already have the monitor mounted on my kayak just waiting on the transducer. Maybe spring of 2020 lol. I spider rig pretty much all the time from my kayak and not really sure how I will use it but it should be fun. My thoughts are to use it similar to the way Toby described above.

Now that is gonna be sooooo awesome. Livescope on a kayak! So cool, keep us updated how it goes.
