The experiment is now over. We started the day finding fish on flats in 7 and a 1/2 fow. I adjusted the bubble to only allow a 4ft dive. 17 crappie later we were forced to move off the flats into deeper water where the double jig rig took over. At the end of the day the ratio of jigs vs bubble/crankbait was about 50-50. That casting bubble and crank setup helped us get the firts place trophy and payout. YES IT DOES HAVE A USE WITH CRANKBAITS!
