those bream look like spawning chinkapin. Nice trip. I have a friend that has a couple of Hobie kayaks and he wants me to go meet him for a trip to the Burns. Ive never been there, so I'm going to take him up on it soon.

They don't allow kayaks at the burns. At least that is what the sign says at the launch.

Don't mind at all. Caught them on live worms (cold worms) about 9-12" under a cork. Fishing the same areas we are fishing for bass.

Thanks for the info. I've been catching a few nice crackers but all have been with grass shrimp when I can find them. Going to have to take a container of Academy/Walmart cold worms with me on my next trip.
