I got mine too.....the Goodtime is finally the right color and the Chrome Clown is the best looking one I have ever seen......those dimples on the body really make it pop and shine.

Yesterday in the mail my 33 new Pico's showed up at the house and I am disappointed that they are Chinese Pico's.........There was a time that one of Pico's claims was that they were "Made in the USA"....Looks like those days are over. Before I did not at all mind spending more on Pico's than others because they were USA made. Now that they are Chinese I may have to reconsider....Just my 2 cents

Only dimple change was smoothed out some right on the top. Most all hard baits are made in China now...The manufacturing costs in US have gotten so high that you would not be able to afford them. They are still the same great bait with the same great rock, knock, wiggle, vibration, dip, dive, and flash that the first ones were. Also the paint jobs are very much improved.

Also...They are still being made in the same mold...and useing the exact same plastic resin. The change in the dimple pattern on the very top of the lure is from sanding the plastic welded seam down for better appearance of finished product. Every thing is the same about them...all except where they are manufactured.

Mitch is very USA oriented..I am sure he will make every effort to continue to make everything he can in the US...The paint job will be more even on the new baits than spraying by hand...You can bitch if you like...I'm going to be catching fish on mine..

    Hey G,
I got a response back from Mitch after my complaint to PICO. He was kind enough to explain outpaced demand and production limitations. He also explained what he went through to be able to obtain the our current high quality product....The company's situation demanded the steps he took to supply demand with the new PICO INT crank baits.......I still do wish the world was a bit different and they could be produced in the USA........ Just the same,I will still be pulling PICO's (same as hundreds of others) because they are my favorite crank bait.

Just for info.....The other popular crankbait companys....out of respect and going by C.C rules of no company bashing... I will not name them...but theirs are being made in China, Guatamala, Hondouras. If you dont believe it go to town and look at the sticker on the back of their packages. And some are higher priced than the Pico's.
