Lake red rock shore fishing?
Never been to red rock so was wondering before I make the drive from Cedar Rapids is their good shore fishing or is it more of a boat lake? Any advise on the shore fishing would b great.

Once the fish move up to spawn you can catch em from the shore. Just look for all the people and you'll figure out where to go. Bout any place with rocks will hold fish. If the water stays high pack your chest waders and jig pole and get in the brush and weeds

TYVM . So I’m assuming by your post their is good shore fishing , Easley accessible for my wife and son?

Any bridge with rocks under it would be a good place to start. Marina bay has rocks on both sides, face of the dam can be good but a little harder to get to and fish. If they are letting a lot of water out don't over look any of the bays below the dam.
