    Default Greenwood 3-23-2019

Got to boat ramp at daylight and parking lot already filling up. It's good to see folks out on Saturday who many have worked all week spending time on the water enjoying whatever species of fish they are after.
The bite continued this morning and has been strong all week as l kept another limit for those home cooked crappie meals.
Water surface temp 55 degrees and water slightly stained.
Stay with the same dark colors still working well in stained water.
Off the water early and parking lot was full.
Now the work begins cleaning fish and cleaning the slime and smell out of boat.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Me and my old buddy, rest his soul, used to carry a grill and a couple steaks to the ramp just to watch those yahoo's loading and unloading. We got plenty of laughs too. What a hoot!

I have always enjoyed fishing Greenwood but days when the lots are full I try to stay away from. Watching everyone fishing at the twin rivers is interesting on those days Greenwood 3-23-2019 congrats on another good day on the wood.

Outstanding! I tried Hartwell on saturday. They flat out were not biting anywhere i tried. Only two for the day! Hoping they will move shallow by next saturday. I havent had time to get to Greenwood this year yet, even though my cabin is on the reedy side in waterloo.
