Thread: enjoying the weather at the park with my son. (and caught a few fish)

Started a new job and only work four tens now. Tuesday happens to be one of my days off. So I took my son to the Anderson Civic Center after he got out of school and fished in the duck pond. Fish were biting right away and pulled in a little fingerling bass after my third cast. Ended up in an hours time we caught ten total. 6 crappie, 3 bream and 1 small bass. none of the fish were monsters but it was nice to get out and enjoy the weather and watching my sons face light up when bringing in the fish. its always nice that when he gets board he can feed the ducks or play at the playground. so fishing and spending quality time with my son is always a great thing.

Good to see you post and congrats on the day of fishing with your son. The ponds can make for some good days for fishing and great memories for both parent and child.
