I have a new boat, long time spider rigger from La.
I'm trying to gather information on places to put in where you can get shiners.
I live in the Village.
Where in Nimrod/ ouachita for spider rigging where you can get bait early and put in?

Find you a bait store near Hot Springs going to Nimrod . Never know when bait store at the lake will be closed .I been drinking coffee at the local store in town when people have drove a long ways to fish and stop in asking where to find minnows cause they was closed for some reason. Learn to use jigs and save money . No hassles of finding and keeping bait .

I don't catch near the fish with jigs. I know it's me, I've run 8 lines, and a guy next to me in another boat with one pole in each hand will catch more than meOriginally Posted by NIMROD

I understand that .But have seen it with my own eyes here . One guy with 4 poles using jigs other side of the boat same thing with minnows and they caught about the same number of fish rigging . All I use is 2 poles in my hands but I am fishing cover with jigs .

I catch more fish each year on jigs, but at White Oak Lake in July when the water is hot..........they'll bite minnows 10-1 over jigs. I think the live bait triggers the bite sometimes, even when they're not hungry. GTT
