Thread: Spring Break

We are going to the beach for spring break this year. We are headed to Gulf Shores for a 3 night trip in a few weeks. We have never been there before and are looking for some ideas/activities other than the beach. What to stay away from and what was good - and don't forget the best places to eat. The kids are 11, 8, and 4. My wife and I want to have a good time with the kids as much as anything and plan to spend a lot of time at the beach just messing around but we want to have other ideas in case of weather or if the kids just want to try something else.

Tell me what you know that I don't.
