    Some spot-on info...can relate to everything, but deep water, our surrounding lakes average 10 ft...thanks for sharing.

    Loved the read. I too started out in the 60's with a 12' Cane Pole, Dacron Line, Snap Swivel, Split Shot, #2 Aberdeen Hook, Shiner, and a Red and White Bobber.
