Default Thank goodness for Lowrance tech support.

Took my boat out for a shakedown since it has been sitting for a few months. I had not hooked up my side scan transducer since I bought this boat last year so I wanted to get that up and running too.
When I went to structure scan the DI worked fine but when I switched to side scan the screen shown here came up. Live Scope! My DF doesn't have that function, at least not with current transducers so after fiddling with settings for a bit I gave up and called Lowrance. It took them about 20 minutes of button pushing before I got it back to normal but all's fine now.
Never did wet a hook though. Murray is still down quite a bit but they started raising it this week so hopefully it will be back up soon. Name: 20190206_125804_HDR.jpeg

You are right, I need to catch a fish. Brandon(Snap Hunter) posted yesterday that he caught 2 over 3# and a 7 fish catch all over 2# if I'm remembering correctly. Seems like some really big fish coming on board now.

Ray how did that Live Scope come up if your DF doesn't have that function? Did he explain?

Sun spots and the Air Force are to blame.

Never said what caused it. He quizzed me quite a bit to believe what unit I had.
That was the least of my issues that day. I had taken the plug out of my livewell to see how much water it would draw in case I wanted to use as livewell instead of cooler. Every livewell Ive ever had would run dry on plane with plug out. Not this one! Water overflowed the well, but I couldn't see it from the console. Noticed my speed was dropping off so i backed off throttle and my feet went under water. Duh.
Glad the weather was warm, but the water was nasty muddy.
