We stayedin Astor last Jan. and fished both Dexter and Woodruff, and will be in Deland the first 2 weeks in Feb and will fish these lakes again. Last year we fished 3 new bodies if water in Fl and quickly figured its best to fish were the boats are if we couldnt locate fish, I will add that using my electronics i tryed to fish deeper areas which payed off most of the time. Id say 75% were spider rigging and some long lining, I usually push minnows and jigs and vary my depths and adjust depth, color of jigs and terrain as i go.
