    time after time after time I see muuuddy water in the pictures giving me the confidence that they DO bite in muddy water...thanks for the pics.....

    Just a caution, if you wear an inflatable life vest don't wear it under a piece of clothing that you have closed up. Like under a jacket or shirt that is buttoned or zipped, upon inflation under such a garment it will compress your chest and you won't be able to breath.

    Like most of the state we had lots of rain starting back in the fall. The lake has been as high as 8 feet over pool stage and has been muddy since November but the fish are there and they have to eat. It's been tough fishing but we've learned some new patterns this year that have worked well. These fish were not only caught in muddy water but also with the water on the rise. I love what Mr. Jigrig would have to say, "Conditions were perfect"... and to me that means I had the chance to go fish!
