I will be making a trip with some buddies to Arkansas next week for a hog hunt they have talked me into. Since I was saving my vacation days for spring crappie, I started looking at where we would be in relation to some good lakes. I found that I will be close to Lake Washington, and wanted to ask for some input from you guys to see if its worth dragging my boat with me. How is the bite typically this time of year on Lake Washington? Is there a bait shop with minnows this time of year? Thanks in advance!

Any recent fishing reports? we have had nothing but cold fronts here in Ky but the weather looks decent down that way for next week.

Washington is one of the earliest lakes to get good in Mississippi. February is some of the best fishing, especially if a little sun comes out!!! Bring the boat. Crappie trumps those nasty hogs any day!!!
