Default *** What type line for tying double rigs ***

I was wondering if anybody knows which type of line is best for tying on the jigs/hooks for double rigs. I have always just used my regular mono line and it gets twisted quite often.. I was wondering if a different type of line (flourocarbon etc ) would be better for attaching the jigs or hooks.

Thanks for any and all responses

I like Seaguar Abrazx 100% fluorocarbon line for tying rigs. I was told about this last year by Cray and haven't had any trouble what's so ever with it. 15 lb is easier to see, but 12 lb is easier to tie knots with. I net very few fish and have yet to have the line fail. It's a bit costly, but in my opinion it will outlast mono 3 to 1 as far as durability.

I use a basic clinch knot on my top crane swivel leaving about a 10" or 11" tag end for my 6" top drop. Then use improved clinch knots on my duo lock snaps and barrel swivel.

I have been using florocarbon as well for a while... It wasn't intentional to start just had some laying around and decided to use it up so started tieing rigs with it and have used it ever since, it holds up very well in my opinion.
