Half day Striper fishing 1-6
Spent half a day out there yesterday with a father son duo fishing looking for a few striper. On the water at sunrise and was a bit worried at how slow it was.
At 1030 finally saw some promising signs and were on the way to the ramp at noon. 5 bites, 4 fish to include a 25+lb flathead. Never caught one pulling artificial. Must have bumped him right in the head!
Im sure we could have wore them out as the fish started to rise in the water column, but we all had some football to watch!
