    Default Sardis level/color

Any news on lake rising or getting too muddy? Looking to head down tomorrow to fish Friday and Saturday with Crappie24! Thanks for any insight!

Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!

One day last fall a buddy camped a few pads from me wife (fishing buddy) had to go home. Mine did too so he and I were going the next morning. It stormed
most of the night. A high moved in the next morning. The lake rose two inches over night. There was muddy water a hundred yards off the bank everywhere
we looked. The wind was ten to fifteen. Everything we thought we knew was against us but we went. We caught a limit slow trolling from daylight to three. The
only person that can tell you if the fish are biting has been sitting in a boat for five or six hours. We were guessing a mediocre day at best.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

As I speak they have opened up the gates some on the big 4, but with the MS River approaching flood stage on Jan. 11, I think the lakes will continue to rise. IF the weather doesn't get brutally cold and the water stays up then i'll be jig fishing those trees in February.
