We have occasional turkeys show up at our feeders
leaving behind some of their Gestures along with their feathers
have you used any of their tail or other feathers for ties ?

Most all feathers from a turkey tail, wings and neck are gonna be pretty buoyant. From the body, less so, but they are usually pretty short.
Sucks bc it’s an animal that we hunt.
The only hair or feathers that I’ve had luck harvesting, as far a jig fishing goes, has been from squirrels, ducks, and deer.
And none of them have been ideal from what I want.
With that said, you can catch fish on anything.
Any color any hook. Turkey Tail an other Feathers

Turkey feathers are used more in fly tying, except for marabou.

    Thanks guys

I'm more interested in tying nothing over a 1/16 oz jig head
keeping it between 1/64 to 1/32 oz
    Just being somewhat creative
    Any pic's would be appreciated
