So here was tonight's dinner. I showed a pic of what they look like when you lift the bones out after you've cooked em, that's the best way I've found to get around all the small bones in trout!

What method did you use to cook those?
Way to go Bob! Never caught one but have eaten them a couple of times, it isn't a crappie but it's ok. They look good the way you cooked them.

All I did was put flour and spices (pepper and garlic powder) in a plastic bag, dried the fish, threw them in the bag for a good dusting, then put a little olive oil and butter in a frying pan and fried them up. You want to get the skin nice and crispy. I like eating the crispy skin kind of like fried chicken.
