Made a trip to the Bass Pro in Clarksville yesterday, found it to be ironic they have introduced Asian carp to the big fish tank! Guess we’re gonna have to except them as a way of life

My only hope is that they have some details on them .... so people can identify them, understand that they are a menace to all aspects of the use of our waterways, and that the governing bodies are trying to reduce the population & stop the spread of these invaders.
I do fear that they are "here to stay", and are likely to continue to spread. I also fear that the commercial fishing & processing plants are simply a sign that eradication of these invaders isn't as much of a priority as we anglers would like it to be.
I really hope it isn't true but someone told me they heard some guys intentionally put them in green so they would have something to bow fish

Guys, I agree with CrappiePappy. Hopefully, the commercial fisherman and the processing plants will continue to make a dent in the population so that these carp don't destroy or severely hurt our Lakes like KY and Barley. These people who run the plants there would not have invested in the business if they thought the Carp would be gone in a couple years. I think we are a long way from eradicating the Asian Carp and or preventing them from being introduced into lakes that don't have them now. I think it's just a mater of time before our internal state lakes gets some knucklehead putting some in these lakes, regardless of the reason, accidental or intentional.
I think Pappy hit on something. Use them as part of the display to educate the general public on the problem.
