Default Pulling crankbaits on the ST Johns in winter?

Heading down tomorrow for a couple months, is pulling cranks an effective technique on the river, Monroe, Woodruff, Beresford, George, etc?

    Is the water too cold?

    Is the water too shallow?

Never hear much about cranks in Florida?

All i can give is my experience. I pulled a lot in TN and moved back in ‘15. Most of what i caught there was whites and an occasional black. No whites here at all and the water is shallower so most of what i used there doesn’t work here. Maybe someone with more patience than me has had better luck with a smaller bait more suited to the blacks. I pull jigs mostly and single pole.
