    Oh no! So sad to hear this, I met him years back at a Darbonne gathering and he has helped me a few times with rods. I will definitely miss him! RIP my friend.

    Funeral services celebrating the life of Robert I. “Bob” Mitcham, III, 79, of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, December 30, 2018, at the Feazel Chapel of First Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA, with Rev. Michael Wood and Rev. Dub Hatten officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30 PM until service time on Sunday. A full obituary will follow soon.
    I fish 7 days a week; some days for fish, everyday for men.

    So sorry to hear about Mr. Bob. He PMed me shortly after he found out that I had moved to Monroe. He was wanting to get together one day and fish D'Arbonne together. I hate that I will not get to fish with him and pick his brain. He confided in me that he had lost his wife about a year ago and was really struggling with the loneliness. Said he hadn't fished since she had passed. I hope his loneliness is over and he is back in the arms of his lifelong love, Mrs. Mitcham and his Savior, Jesus.
    The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.
