    Default Helix cable connector tray

I have two helix 7s, and am looking for a way to keep the cables organized and protected from dirt/water while my units are removed while im duck hunting. Would this do the job? Theres not really a good description on the humminbird website and on other websites i looked at it, it looks like it has wires coming out of the other side so it may serve another purpose. If this wont work do yall know of anything that would? Thanks

I would think you might get crud and dirt in the ends of the cables in a cable connector tray. Might be a better option to bundle the ends of the cables together with rubber bands or wire tie in a small zip lock baggie. Hope someone else has a better idea.

Those won't work by attaching to a 7 only fit 9,10 and 12. As far as protection your connections are still exposed to water and dirt. cevans has about the best idea for what I think your trying to accomplish. I wish they made a blank plug that you could plug into for just that reason.

If you still have them laying around your helix cable ends should fit in them.

You might call bird and see if they have a blank that would work.
