    Default The Golden Child

Now mind you this , I did NOT say it was a golden crappie , but I will in fact suggest it was some kinda pretty and looking right golden .
Sure did put a twinkle in my eye and then off it swam . The bite wasn't strong that day and I got my line broke right after a strip off of line and a new tie on my VERY first drop of the jig …..burned me it did ….
found a few fish and got some line tugs here and there . One lil wardog even put on a thump down on the bottom . And one bass made me think I had a real nice crappie for a bit as well .
hope you have a nice day and remember to hold still now .
if they are deep under struggling bait they don't want to chase it and to be sure a very still very close to the bottom presentation will git ya bit .
p.s. walking a mile in my shoes seems pretty popular out in the woods according to the trax on the trail …...

Axis. Imported from India an now very prevalent in the Texas Hill country. Larger than a whitetail and extremely tasty.
