Thread: Highway department workers

I was having breakfast at waffle house this morning and got to watching the new highway improvements going on. I noticed one worker was digging a series of holes in the median. But another worker was following along filling them up. I had to get to the bottom of this. I went out and asked was going on. Looked like a big waste of public money. The digger said it was a 3 man crew. He dug the hole, John dropped a tree in and Frank covered it up. He said John was sick today. He said " You don't expect Frank and me to miss work too, do you?"

True story! Sounds about right.
