Default The Good, the Bad, & the Upgrade

The "GOOD", got off work Friday morning & tried my luck up in the IR again with a simple cork, circle hook, & shrimp presentation. Too my fortune, another nice slot Red took the offering for a ride, not 15 minutes after setting up a drift. Little time went by without another hook up, so went to a known Trout hang out & bam trout on, a barely keeper I planned to release, then the "Bad"...was attempting a pic & the trout gave a head shake that was about to sink a circle hook into the hand holding him, then with a knee jerk reaction took the hand with my cell phone to help keep the hook out of my hand & well, you probably guessed, cell phone into the WATER...was murky 3-4 ft depth, but to no avail dragging a net in the area, to at least retrieve my expanded memory card....sooo the "Upgrade" as twist of faith I was to pick up a check for some reclaimed freon, which totaled $3 more than the new phone ended up costing, guess their's a lesson learned in there somewhere. To my surprise, Google backed up all my contacts & older pics as well as was able to keep my original #, so very pleased to have all this done in about a 4 hr turn around, upgrading from a Motorola 4 to the 6 version....so coined it as &*^% happens...

A good day fishing but a bum deal on the phone. I can see there’s never any extra money at your house either. Always something with its hand out. Glad to hear it worked out as good as it did. That’s a nice fish too, by the way.

Good post. It's amazing just how fast ole Davy Jones can get our gear.

Good trip sorry about your phone. How is water looking on Indian River? Really clear in Edgewater.
