    Default Lake Harney water levels...

Haven't been up there for a while, I know Poinsett is way down for this time of year and I'm sure its low up north, but checking if there still enough water entering into the lake from the ramp for an 18' boat. I know it gets real low at that spot. The Wife likes fishing up there so I'm checking to see if someone could give me the latest. Thanks, Rick N

Was there last Thursday, about 2 ft deep in flat going out, however, no matter how low it get's there's a underwater ditch that stays at least 3ft deep & is to the RIGHT of the PVC pole about 15yds & runs at a 45 degree angle (2 o'clock) to the PVC pole for maybe 75 yds...on-plane I never have any issues, but if you have in the past I wouldn't recommend trying in a boat you couldn't get out & pull off a sand bar....

Ok great, thanks Speck Detector for the info, Yes I'm aware of that hard right turn by the pole. Just was concerned seeing how low the St Johns is down my way right now.

My boat takes a good bit of water to run but I never have trouble getting in. When I get to where you speak of, I turn right and lay the boat on one side of the V which decreases the amount of water needed to get through. Has worked so far.

Yeah if there is around two feet of water I will be fine, I can run in some pretty skinny water, but that is up on plane. But there isn't any turning around at that point. I sure hope I don't have to do no Evil Kenevil stuff!
