Our prayers are with your family during this time of grief. We pray that comfort comes to your family in the name of Jesus. God does not make any mistakes. God has called him home to be at rest. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. May his love and memories that transcends time, be in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him, forever! Take comfort in knowing that he is safely home in the arms of Jesus.

    : 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18.
“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. "Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

May God be with you. Keep CALM and STAY ANCHORED with your faith.

    Doug,
My condolences to you and your family. I spend a ton of time with my dad. He was my best man in my wedding. He moved down by me just to be closer and we hunt and fish together daily. My mind wanders from time to time thinking about that dreaded day. Unlike many, you and I can cherish the many times we spent together with our fathers. Their impressions are embedded in us for eternity.

So sorry for your loss, sympathy for you & your family !!
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
