started late around 930 or so and caught 14 keepers in an hour or so at a well known fishing pier and then went to honeycomb and caught 4 more in 30 mins and then stopped at Gville dam and caught 3 more keepers all on jigs at depths that varied from spot to spot. bobby garland on chart/orange 1/32 heads except for at the dam where I used a 1/16 pink head to be able to reach the lock wall from the bank. most were 11-12 inches with a couple of 13's...Pictures as soon as my buddy I gave them to text them to me.

Great job RB!! Was pretty sure that the shore bite was going to get better with this cold!
Great report! Thanks for sharing !glad you had a good day catching!
I’m gonna have to get over that way and try them. Where I’ve moved to it’s much closer than Wheeler when I’m leaving from home to go. Just don’t know much about the area.

It starts at the bridge on hwy 72 just before Scottsboro Then turn right on hwy 79 the first bridge is at Goosepond , then you can travel down 79 towards Guntersville they are 3 more causeways that’s productive then you can turn right onto hwy 431 headed back towards Huntsville and hit the bridge at honeycomb also the dock behind Goosepond bait and tackle is a big community hole that’s a hot spot . Good luck and get at it!
Damion Kidd thanked you for this post
[QUOTE=Slabprowler;3724735]I’d be coming from blountsville. So any of the bridges on 79?
