I want to know if you got the slab maintaince program where he fixes it if it breaks. That's a nice car and well maintained for sure.

The sticker alone made it worth it plus the shirts and hat! He’s truely a great president for the organization.

Actually I was a Volvo Mechanic (late teens, my uncle was a service manager at a Volvo shop), but got out of it and into BMWs later on after I went into the computer field. I always loved working on cars, till the ole back got to hurtin!

Thanks Bassman, it was a great car for me for many years. That was definitely one of my favorite cars I've ever owned. Dang you cleaned it up nice. Almost brings a tear to my eye, but getting wifey in a new F150 (yezsterday) also made me feel good. She's the one who was driving that bimmer the last couple years (I drove the f250, which was so much better for my back). She was driving to Disney to do her runs in the wee hours of the morning with that 190k mile car. I woulda been fine driving it for another couple years, but I feel better now that she's in a new f150. As a matter a fact, she drove to a 15k run this morning for the first time in her new f150.....yay.

Here's the same pic I posted in that other thread I got going.

"Well, where's the keys." said wifey.

Bassman, thank you for your purchase, you're a hands on guy and I'm confident you'll get many more years outa the Bimmer. It'll be fun seeing her at the ramp every now and again. With as cleaned up as you made it, you just better hope I don't have another key for it! doh - If you see it parked in a different spot when you come back in from fishing, just remember, it wasn't me! lol
