    I fish a few out of the way places, and sometimes stay after dark. There has to be a security camera that fits in your truck and watches the bed and the boat. Even better if it would push notification your cell phone.

    I would be tempted to mount the plate on the boat transom, no way to steal it if it's on the water with you.

    I don't have that problem anymore. I lost/had stolen 2 plates in Louisiana. Plate not required in Tennessee. I finally took off my permanent La. plate about a year after moving. Those quick connects look great. I always check the plug before I launch and that would be a good time to remember to take off the plate.
